Purchase and download

Select the 'Tap here to purchase' button for the game you'd like to buy.
Add funds (if needed) with a Nintendo eShop Card or credit card.'
Follow the on-screen instructions to purchase and download. Once your download is complete, you can return to the Home menu to find your new game.'

Download codes are codes for specific digital games or content. To redeem your code, simply tap the Nintendo eShop icon on your HOME Menu, then select 'Redeem Download Code' from the eShop menu.

You may also redeem your code online (except DLC or Theme codes) and send the content directly to your system.

Imagine seeing a video game unfold in the real world...right on your kitchen table, or the floor of your living room! AR Games uses the outer cameras and AR Cards included with all systems in the Nintendo 3DS family to present an amazing augmented-reality gaming experience.

Just place one of the AR Cards on a table or floor, and the camera will read the card and initiate game stages or characters right before your eyes. AR Games features different modes, from a wild shooting gallery to an interactive photo shoot with your Mii™ characters—plus more.

Face Raiders combines 3D* gameplay with the gyro sensor feature for some fast-paced fun. Using the camera, you can take a photo of yourself, a friend or family member, which is then placed onto a range of shooting targets. To play, you'll need to move with your system, physically leaning and turning to search all around and aim high and low, taking out your targets.

3D Viewing is not available on Nintendo 2DS systems.

Listen to music—or create your own.

Each system in the Nintendo 3DS family includes the Nintendo 3DS Sound application. It lets you listen to music saved on an SD Card in MP3 or AAC format. You can even record and play with sounds via your system's microphone with a variety of fun filters.
